A New Addition- The Homestead Weekly Update
Good day and happy Friday everyone. sorry we didn’t have a post last week. The Homestead has gone though a huge upset in our daily activities. On October 30 little ma (Marry Ann) joined our crew.
It has been a crazy past 2 weeks and we are sorry we didn’t post an update last week. R taking care of a house and 6 kids is a sight to see, we’re not sure if he’s losing all his hair or turn more grey and which is faster. But the house is still standing, the animals are alive and healthy and the kids aren’t in the hospital and honestly the house does look like a tornado went through it. M has diligently been trying to heal, take care of the baby and when R is at work keep some type of structure at the home.
our church family is a true blessing helping out with so many meals, we are so great full to them and they truly made the past week and half so much easier! We also have awesome grandparents watching 6 kids isn’t easy in itself but watching them at odd hours and moving on top of it, they are such a blessing and we are so appreciative of their help!
Overall everyone is doing well and we are continuing to adjust and things are starting to normalize and we will soon be getting back to the grove of things. We were able to have some quality family time. You can see from the picture above. It truly is the small things that can bring a family together sometimes!
we hope you have a wonderful weekend, we are praying for you all and we will see you next week hopefully with a few more things to talk about until then God bless you all!
