Dropping the Ball - The Homestead Weekly Update

Greetings everyone, R is a day late and dollar short. Honestly I thought today was Friday not Saturday, till M kindly reminded me”where’s the update for this week” yup I dropped the ball in this one.

So how is everyone Christmas shopping going? We are doing well I think M correct me if I’m wrong I’m sure but I know we are over half way there already. We are ready for Thanksgiving and the kids are excited about having a few days off and seeing the family!

We have a decent routine down now, although M still isn’t getting any solid sleep yet, but she keeps turning down naps. But we are settling in little ma is doing wonderful and is such a joy to the family.

One of our dogs have been probing our chicken choops and actually got a chicken last week, so that’s another area we have been fixing and training. We also had a good haul of rabbit meat harvested this past week.

Lastly the kitchen helper is coming along, we got finish on some of the parts already, and doing some final sanding a few more, hopefully we will be able to have it up and running before thanksgiving!
