Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
A nice simple recipe that the family will enjoy. It’s the perfect amount of sweetness but still a nice healthy option to start the day out with. I’m an early riser so usually I can put this on first thing in the morning and it’s done by the time the kids wake up. You do not have to have the chocolate chips it’s just something me personally along with several of my children like to add.
Ingredients:
3 cups steal-cut oats
3 tbs butter melted
12 cups water
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tbs Ground Cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 Granny Smith Apples chopped
Splash of Almond Milk
Chocolate Chips (optional)
First:
Coat your crockpot with butter/oil to prevent oatmeal from sticking once done.
Secondly:
Pour your oats and melted better in crockpot and stir until all oats are covered.
Thirdly:
Add water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to the crockpot. Cook on low for 4 hours.
Next:
Divide into bowls and add the milk, apples and chocolate chips to your liking.
Lastly:
Serve and enjoy
