R & M Homesteading Goals for 2022

End of Year 2022:

Now that the end of year 2022 has come and gone we can reflected all we have accomplished on the homestead. It’s truly amazing being able to look over the year and see what we did, and what we didn’t do. What we choose to be important and what was pushed aside for other items or time. We completed 40 items out of 75 ( Not counting all the items on the Winter Prep List) 10 more are in progress and weren’t finished due to several reasons, 1 item supplies were bought to start the next year, 1 item is going through planning, and 21 were not started at all. On top of that we had over 60 more items to get the homestead ready for winter and a big head start for spring we completed as well. Although we did have a huge lack of communication from time to time I’d like to say this was a much more successful year then the prior year and we are continuing to learn more each year. We hope you follow along this coming year, as we will be moving along our journey and we will be coming up with a new Homesteading Goals for 2023!!!! We Wish you all a wonderful and Joyful New Year!

May 2022:

Last year we bought ourselves a white board with a list of items to complete for the year, some are big tasks, some are small tasks, some might not happen for a few years. It was a great way to see at the end of the year what we really accomplished and what was left over.

We continued the trend this year and have already took off a few items on the list. As we move forward this year we will Mark the date the task is completed although on our own personal board we will be doing a swiping erase over the task. We decided to share our homesteading progress with you all and you’re more then welcome to send us a message throughout the year to see how we’re doing or you can follow our Facebook page for weekly updates as well, and even maybe add to the list.
